Do you see clients in-person, via teletherapy or both?
Currently, all sessions are taking place through teletherapy. Life is busy and it’s not always easy to make it to in-person therapy appointments.
These live video sessions are available to anyone in the state of Washington. I use a secure HIPAA platform (Sessions) to conduct these video sessions, which you can access on your computer, tablet or phone.
How do I schedule a session?
To begin, we’ll schedule a 15 minute consultation call to get to know one another. If we agree that it seems to be a good fit, we’ll schedule your initial session.
How often will I need sessions and for how long?
This depends on the goals that we discuss during our initial sessions. Oftentimes, individuals initially prefer to have therapy weekly in order to develop a strong relationship and keep themselves engaged. Others taper off over time due to meeting goals and developing strong connections in other areas of life.
Depending on your goals, therapy can be short (6-12 sessions) where we focus on a specific concern or longer term where we can focus on a variety of concerns or more complicated processing.
Do you accept my insurance?
I will be accepting Premera and Lifewise in November.
I am considered an ‘out of network’ therapist - this means that I am not contracted to bill your insurer.
Many insurance companies give out-of-network reimbursements for mental health services. I encourage you to check with your insurance provider to understand what reimbursement options may be available. I am happy to provide you a monthly superbill (itemized receipt of services) as needed. If you’d like an in-network provider, www.psychologytoday.com is a great resource for locating clinicians.
What are your session fees?
50 minute intake session - $250
50 minute session - $200
Payment is due at time of service. I accept all major credit, debit and HSA/FSA cards
Do you have any flexibility in your pricing?
Ensuring the accessibility of my services is important to me. I realize my session rate might not be feasible for some and I offer a limited number of reduced-rate slots. If you’re interested in working with me but have concerns about affording my session rate, please reach out to inquire about my reduced rate.
